Joan Rivers could make you laugh to tears as a comedian and rip your personal fashion style to shreds on the red carpet with her barefaced opinion. Joan Rivers had an amazing career doing exactly what she wanted to do for over 50 years. Her loud raspy tone delighted us in so many ways from her stand up comedy, to talk show host on The Late Show with Joan Rivers and The Joan Rivers Show, her own jewelry and clothing collection for QVC and other shopping channels, her throne on The Fashion Police and her reality show with her daughter Joan & Mellissa: Joan Knows Best. Of the many catch lines or phrases from her trash-talking mouth my favorites are..."Can we talk?" and "Oh grow up!" Working hard and dressing to impress with the amazing kind of energy that Joan Rivers had at 81 years of age well, that's a full life lived.
Joan Rivers was true to her sense of humor through to her death, she made this request to her daughter... “I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene!” she wrote. “I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don’t want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don’t want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing ‘Mr. Lonely.’ I want to look gorgeous, better dead than I do alive. I want to be buried in a Valentino gown and I want Harry Winston to make me a toe tag. And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyoncé's.” Gotta love her. RIP Joan Rivers. Wishing peace and love to her family, friends and fans.
